Dr. Wasserman is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in foot and ankle, limb lengthening and deformity. She earned her Doctor of Medicine with high honors from the University of Saskatchewan, Canada. Following a residency in internal medicine at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, she sought additional training through an orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Calgary.

She completed her fellowship in foot and ankle surgery/sports medicine at the University of Iowa and since 2004, has pursued additional training as a Fellow in Angular Deformity Correction and Limb Lengthening Surgery at St. Croix Orthopedics in Stillwater, Minnesota.

Dr. Wasserman has completed numerous research projects and her work has been presented both in the U.S. and in Canda. Her professional affiliations include the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada and the American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Association. She is fluent in French.
