Board-certified family medicine physician David Olson earned his medical degree at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in 1998. He completed his family practice residency at United Hospital in St. Paul and a sports medicine fellowship at Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana. He earned his Certificate of Added Qualifications (CAQ) in sports medicine in 2002.
Dr. Olson sees patients at University Family Physicians-North Memorial in Minneapolis. He is Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Practice and Community Health at the University of Minnesota where he is part of the clinical faculty. He serves as Team Physician for the Minnesota Vikings, the University of Minnesota Athletic Department, and Roseville and Minneapolis Henry high schools.
His special medical interests include knee and snowboard injuries.
