Sarah Lehnert, M.D., CAQ, is a sports medicine physician who brings expertise in caring for athletes of any age to Minneapolis-based Minnesota Orthopaedic Specialists and Fairview Sports and Orthopedic Care. She sees a broad spectrum of orthopedic concerns that include fractures, muscle and joint injuries, arthritis and osteoporosis.

Dr. Lehnert earned her undergraduate degree from the College of St. Benedict and attended medical school at the University of Minnesota-Duluth. She completed her residency in family medicine at Methodist Hospital and a sports medicine fellowship at Hennepin County Medical Center. She joined Minnesota Orthopaedic Specialists in 2004.

She is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and holds a certificate of added qualifications (CAQ) in sports medicine. She is the team physician for Burnsville High School.
